To the Burke family: Aunt Doreen will be greatly missed by the Lyons family. We shared so many memories over the years: thirty plus Christmases, many birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. These events all served to truly connect us as family. Aunt Doreen was the heart of these events, with her warmth and her laughter. She always opened her door to all of us, and she was always so loving. Doreen Burke was an incredible woman who has forever touched our lives. Love the Lyons family.
Doreen, you will long be remembered by your family and friends as a loving mother, loving daughter and a loving wife. Your friendship was a gift and we will cherish that gift forever. God brings people into our lives for a reason and then takes them away for a reason, neither of which do we understand, but we appreciate this gift. We thank him for our dear friend Doreen and her loving family that we have known for so many years. May God bring you peace and may He bring peace to your family.
