Robin Adams passed away on Monday, June 22nd, 2015 in his 78th year with his family by his side after living with Alzheimer’s for many years. Beloved husband of 45 years and best friend to Pat. Loving father of Corrie (James), Ryan (Carey), Mark (deceased) and his surviving wife Carole. Cherished grandfather of Leigh-anne, Adrian, Anika, and Oliver. He will be greatly missed by his brother Michael (Pat), sisters Gail, Margot (Tim), and Karen. Rob’s fun-loving, selfless and gentle nature had a profound impact on family and all he met. He prioritized the needs of others above his. He was always ready to lend a hand. Rob has left a legacy as a talented craftsman and was a teacher of those skills to many others. He was also immensely innovative in his ability to design, build and repair everything around him. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel (82 Pine Street, Collingwood) on Thursday June 25th, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday June 26, 2015. A Celebration of Life to follow at the Blue Mountain Inn (Kandahar Room) from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated as this was Rob’s favorite charity.
