The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Garry Johns can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I remember the first day I meet Garry he was umping one of my baseball games and that was fun and then last two years Garry and Rhonda would come over couple timse a mouth and we would have them for Christmas and thanksgiving those were fun memories Garry was there for us and when we needed help. Garry would take my brothers and I to baseball games where he umpired and tho use were great and fun and then last year was fun for Christmas he got me monopoly, risk for my brother cory, and my brother eddy a poker chip set and we played monoploy a lot with Garry and my family it was fun. This year he toke me down to a place in missassga to get some softball stuff and he watch some of my brother eddys and I softball games and the turnement was great we had a ball Friday we won one of are games and then lost. Saturday we won all of our games and Sunday we one the first game and lost the second one and the one word that Garry said to me and that word ment bunt was boomer and then after all of that he toke me and Rhonda to the potato fest and we looked at off of the cars and that was fun and then went to the fair ground and looked around and he played a paintball thing and he really wanted to take us to play paintball with him he was ready we were ready but it never end happened and then it was my birthday September 15th he brought eddy and I a cake and some money in a card and after he broke his shoulder he wasn't the same and my last words to him was I love you and I wish I could of seen him one last time and he was like our grandfather to us and family spend time with us take us to baseball and all of that and on the day I heard that he passed away I'm kinda not the same as I use to be with him around it feels different. Rest in peace Garry hope you like it up there. Tell my grandfather I miss him and I will alway remember both of you and I will miss you Garry I will miss you.
