Condolences

Condolence From: Daniel McArthur
Condolence: I was just sitting reading a book today and Gus came to my mind, I don't know why. If this is the same Gus who worked at Glass Cell in Rexdale around 1969, I met Gus when I was 16 years old working at Glass Cell. I know this is a late condolence but I remember Gus with fond memories as we worked together for 3 years and he was my first fellow employee in my career. I always wondered what became of Gus. I do remember he always spoke of life in the "Old Country". I thought of Gus many times through my life. Again, my sincere condolences.

Condolence From: Adele Maida
Condolence: I came across this verse from an unknown source which describes many people in their aging years. As we watched Dad in his last days struggle, this verse gives me comfort and I hope to others as well.

"God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be.
So He closed His arms around you and whispered 'Come to me'.

You didn't deserve what you went through, so He gave you rest.
God's Garden must be beautiful.
He only takes the best.

And when he saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain, we would not wish you back to suffer that again."
