Condolence: Dear Carole, Katherine and Jennifer. My deepest condolences go out to you and all those affected by this tragic loss. Although I didn't get the chance to know Ron very well. I do remember the times I did have interactions with him. His gentleness, modesty, and the respect that he showed when you spoke with him, can only described with one word - care. He had a unique ability to make you feel that what you said, actually mattered. So few have been blessed with such a gift. Know that my prayers are with you.

Condolence: We were so saddened to hear of Ron's untimely passing. He and I worked together for many years in the Falconbridge research group, both in Thornhill and later in Sudbury, where Ron was very well liked and greatly respected for his superb technical and laboratory skills. After Ron's retirement to Wasaga Beach and during a visit to their lovely home a few years ago, Ron and Carol told us how much they were enjoying their travelling adventures and seeing the sights of the world. Ron was one of the 'good guys' and will be greatly missed. Condolences to Carol and family.
