SCOTT, Patricia V. (née Blinkhorn) –
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Collingwood Nursing Home, age 93. Predeceased in 2013 by Jack Scott, devoted husband of 63 years. Cherished mother of Peter, Janet (David) and Don (Danielle). Loving grandmother of Rachel, Ryan, Evan, Kate, Mitchell and Taylor, and great-grandmother of three. Loving friend to Karen and Bonnie. Pat will be missed by her nephew and nieces. Pat’s was a life well-lived: Avid golfer, gardener, birder, photographer, businesswoman, and baker. Her sense of humour and sweet nature never wavered. Pat instilled in her children a love of music and of the outdoors. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life to follow on Saturday, July 14 from 1-4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63, Collingwood. Pat’s family wishes to thank Dr. Enright, Dr. Smith, and CNH Convalescent Care and Long Term Care staff. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Pat’s name to the Friends of Point Pelee or to the Collingwood Horticultural Society. For us the sun and moon have fled the earth.
