Condolence From: Kobi Watson
Condolence: I’m so saddened to hear about Cheryl. She was an absolutely amazing teacher and mentor. She was so bubbly and joyful and I loved being in her class. I’m so grateful I was able to meet her and I’m heartbroken for her family, especially her grand daughter Lily whom she spoke of often.
Truly deeper sympathies,
Kobi Watson

Condolence From: Kara Schick-Makaroff
Condolence: To Cheryl's family: I am so sorry for your loss. We grieve alongside of you, and hold you in our thoughts and prayers. I had the great pleasure to teach Cheryl last winter in her PhD program. She was a brilliant scholar and her love for learning was infectious. She invested time in her nursing practice, and by extension, in the lives of those she cared for. And now, the world seems more empty without her. Our most sincere condolences to each of you. Kara Schick-Makaroff (Faculty of Nursing, University of Alberta)

Condolence: A bright light has been dimmed way too soon. The most kind, compassionate and dedicated lady I ever met. I never heard her say a bad word about anybody. She had a true calling as a nurse and teacher. I am glad to say I had the honour of knowing and working with her for many years. Deepest sympathy to all of her family

Condolence From: Shannon
Condolence: I wish to express my sincerest sympathy to Cheryl’s family. I had the privilege of working with Cheryl this fall as one of her PhD course professors. It was immediately obvious during our first meeting that she was an exceptional person and nurse. Her rich experience and deep knowledge consistently shone through. Our doctoral program is richer because she was in it. My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. With heartfelt sympathy Shannon Scott (University of Alberta)

Condolence From: Don (Doug) Wilcox
Condolence: Heard of Cheryl's passing through a mutual friend. Had the pleasure of knowing her for a couple of years many, many moons ago while we were in our late teens in Collingwood.
It brought back a flood of memories of her as a wonderful, fun young gal who we all hung around with quite a bit in those days. Had totally lost touch over the years after moving away, but it was so uplifting to read the notice and see that she'd gone on to deeply touch many other lives in so many ways.
To her family and friends, my deepest condolence for your loss.
Don Wilcox (Ottawa)
