Beth McGill (nee Jones)

Passed away peacefully at Sunset Manor, Collingwood on Friday February 23, 2018 in her 88th year. Beth, beloved wife of the late Claude (1999). Loving mother to Brian of Stayner, David and Tammy of Singhampton, James and Tina of Powassan, Jayne McGill and Ceaser Cosentino of Mississauga and Lisa and Paul Williams of Mississauga. Beth will be forever cherished by her 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren (plus one on the way). Born to parents the late Maurice and Edythe Jones, she is survived by her brothers Bob (Veronica) of Ajax and Jim (Catherine) of Stayner and sister Mary (the late Sam) Kinghan of Creemore; predeceased by sister Alma Swiney. The family extends many thanks to the staff at Sunset Manor for the kindness and care given to Beth. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Creemore Chapel on Monday February 26, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at 1 p.m. on Tuesday February 27, 2018. Spring interment at Creemore Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
