Roberts, Herbert Andrew ‘Bert’ passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday February 13, 2018 at Campbell House in his 83rd year. Bert, beloved husband of Helen for 52 years, proud father of Ben (Josephine Mazzuca) Roberts and Donna (Lorne) Bell, he will be forever cherished by his grandsons Andrew and Gabriel. Bert was born at home in Nottawa to parents the late Leonard and Pearl Roberts; he will be deeply missed by his brother Edward (Gail) and sister Doreen (Al) McLean. Bert was a pillar in his church and community and will be remembered by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Sunday February 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1 p.m. on Monday February 19, 2018. Reception to follow at Nottawa United Church. Spring interment at Trinity United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Nottawa United Church or Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House would be appreciated.
