Condolence From: Debbie and Henry
Condolence: Our deepest sympathy Ona and family. We will greatly miss Peggy and our wee visits over the fence. She was always interested in what we were doing now and happy to share a story or a memory. She seemed to enjoy the gardens growing and each new bloom....except for dandelions, they must go! Our backs hurt just watching as she persistently dug them out.
We’ll miss the sparkle and spirit of our neighbour. May God give you comfort and peace at this difficult time.

Condolence: Ona & The Alisauskas Family: My sincerest sympathy! When I phoned for Ona & Peggy answered-I knew I would have my smile for the day! Conversations never faltered relating to medicine (she was a Registered Nurse)as we exchanged stories from our past. Informative or humorous -she always had me in stitches! Often we would say that if life becomes boring -we'll go out & table dance--that would end in naughty jokes & laughter.
Relating past family history she spent precious moments knitting, baking fudge that will be missed @ Christmas time. Proud of her husband, she reminisced how he built her a home & the furniture. Time spent outdoors he guided & taught their children how to ski.
She never wavered extolling all her children/grandchildren's talents.
Now, when I phone Ona & Peggy does not answer-- I am reminded how special my time was communicating with Peggy either by phone or visiting her @ home & how her friendship impacted me about life!

Condolence: A few years ago Ona , Sue Buchanan and I embarked on music lessons. Practice was always at Ona’s and our attempts to sing in harmony was food for Peggy’s wicked sense of humour. We could always count on a comment and wry smile at the end. Always a glint in her eye.

Condolence: Farewell Mrs. Alisauskas. I will always remember you fondly. I have so many good memories of you…the baby talk we always engaged in, the all day movie watching from the downstairs couch eating a bag of broken chocolate bars, mooching your Peter Jacksons, your unforgettable laugh…Until we meet again…rest in peace.

With great fondness,
Nancy Bartlett
