The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Margaret Alisauskas can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Ona & The Alisauskas Family: My sincerest sympathy! When I phoned for Ona & Peggy answered-I knew I would have my smile for the day! Conversations never faltered relating to medicine (she was a Registered Nurse)as we exchanged stories from our past. Informative or humorous -she always had me in stitches! Often we would say that if life becomes boring -we'll go out & table dance--that would end in naughty jokes & laughter. Relating past family history she spent precious moments knitting, baking fudge that will be missed @ Christmas time. Proud of her husband, she reminisced how he built her a home & the furniture. Time spent outdoors he guided & taught their children how to ski. She never wavered extolling all her children/grandchildren's talents. Now, when I phone Ona & Peggy does not answer-- I am reminded how special my time was communicating with Peggy either by phone or visiting her @ home & how her friendship impacted me about life!
