Marlene Butters
June 19, 1933 – January 20, 2018

Passed away peacefully at Sunset Manor following her long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Marlene, will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 62 years Bill and her children Debbie (Mike) Synnott, Steven (Kim) Butters, Kim (Ron) Marriott and Doug (Mandy) Butters. Forever cherished by her grandchildren Christopher, Brandon, Alesia, Stephanie, Kayla, Sydney, Alec, Victoria and Kate; great grandchildren Isabelle, Emily, Aubrey and AJ. Born in Collingwood to parents Leonard and Lucinda Parrish; Marlene is survived by her brothers Ron and Dale. A service of remembrance will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Friday January 26, 2018 at 12 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Sunset Manor South Simcoe for their kindness and care.
