Condolence: My heart goes out to Matt Erica Gord and all family. Betty was my guide leader. I grew up with both her children and had Matt in most of my public school classes. Many memories were made at Winterama and the Berrys family home in New Lowell where a lot of us got together as children to play and the adults gathered together. Her sense of humor and determination is what I will remember. Glad I had the chance to run into her last year and say quick hello. Rest in peace. Another Angel grew wings.

Condolence: Gord, Matt and Erica, so many memories of wonderful times so many years ago, though the miles between us kept us apart just know you were often in our thoughts and Suzanne and I chat all the time when we are together as a family of how and what you were doing. Even though I am far away I am oh so close in my heart and sending heartfelt condolences to you all. I still remember when Betty would ask you to do something and you would tell her ...in a minute, her response was always...no minutes..now! Mom (Edna) would tell stories of how headstrong Betty was and would always laugh and be proud of such a strong woman in the family. Her love for you was unwavering. Wishing we weren't so far away, a real time hug would be so nice but for now just know you are in my thoughts. Love to you all.

Condolence: I met Elizabeth because she emailed me to talk about Canadian Idol. She suggested we meet for tea and promised she wasn't a crazy or dangerous! That started a friendship that lasted for nearly a decade. She was with me at a Serena Ryder concert which also happened to be my second date with the man who would become my husband. She was at our wedding and she cheered us on as our family grew. I am going to miss out tea times together. I wish we had done them more often. Goodbye, my friend. Rest now. Love, Lisa
