Condolence From: Rodger and Candy Nick Hassard
Condolence: Her spirit, wit, and determination will be missed. She has left a mark on our family, especially Nick that will live in our memories forever. From solstice parties, watching movies and pizza, to her plumb cake. There are few places/people I would send my boy and trust without question. We are so glad we were able to know her. My heart goes out to those who go on, but she gave you her strength to carry on. Love you guys.

Condolence From: Katrina & Erwin Trautrim
Condolence: Dear Sean, Matthias, Tristan and Sven. Our sincere condolences to all of you. I am so sad for you and Elke that she could not be with you while you continue through life. I know that her memory though will be with you always. Elke's memory will always stay with me. Elke was the kind of friend that I could visit any time and be welcomed. The type of friend that came to my shop to visit when she got her hair done, walked up the mountain with, raised our children with, shared two countries with, and thought of every day. I loved her enthusiasm for life, her love of her children, her family, her friends and her community. I am thankful for her friendship and I will keep all of you in my thoughts and think of Elke always. Sincerely Katrina & Erwin. Condolences also from Alex, Madaline & Andrew Trautrim

Condolence From: Bill and Val Vandervechte
Condolence: Sean, Mattias, Tristan and Sven. We send our thoughts and prayers to all. Elke was so proud of each and everyone of you. She always shared her stories and love of her family when we sat together at sporting events. She could light up a room with that smile and positive attitude. It might be difficult now but never forget all the things she taught you and the time you spent together. Time will make memories easier.

Condolence: Dear Sean, Mattias, Tristan and Sven, words are not enough to convey our sadness upon hearing about the passing of your mother and best friend. She will be forever dear in our hearts and she will be remembered always for her way of looking at the world. It is important that we carry on with her vision and wishes for all of you as this will help to get you through this very difficult time that we find ourselves in.
You are all in our thoughts constantly and always will be, and if you ever need any help of any kind, do not hesitate to ask. I have known Elke for a period of twenty eight years and she always gave it her best.
Best regards and kindest of wishes from Down Under.

Condolence From: Penny& Anissa Knowlton
Condolence: Sean and Family. We are so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of volunteering with Elke when our kids were younger at their school. We had lots of fun and laughs trying to skate 30 kids up at the same time at the arena. She had alot more patience than I did and just laughed at the situation. She was very pleasant and fun to be around. I could tell the love she had for her boys because she talked about them all the time. She was so proud of the 3 of you. Thinking of you at this sad time. Share in your memories.

Condolence From: Janet and Jeff Butler
Condolence: Sean,
We were all so sorry to hear the news of the passing of your beautiful wife Elke. We just heard yesterday and most of us were unable to get there today. Doug and his wife Sarah were at the service today and said it was lovely and extremely emotional. They had to get back to work so were unable to attend the lunch and speak to you in person. Sarah said you spoke very well during the service. We are so sorry we missed it. Elke was such a warm heart and I enjoyed all of our times together. You and the boys are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love Janet, Jeff, Doug, Sarah, Katie, Jason and Margie.
