Sister to Glenn (Holmes) Jackson and her husband John Jackson, aunt to their son Johnny and his wife Bernice and extended family of Woodstock, NB. Aunt to Reginald and Annie Flewelling of Kingsville, ON. Polly’s life was full of joy, love, caring and giving to so many; she was loved. A veteran of World War II with a rank of Lance Corporal in the Women’s Army Corp had a great influence for the larger part of her life. A longtime resident of the Beach she enjoyed her lawn bowling at Kew Gardens and Balmy Beach and volunteer work at Stand Wadlow Centre in East York. Special times were found at her weekly dart at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 11 on Dawes Road. The family would like to express thanks to Veterans Affairs and Branch 11 for their support which is greatly appreciated, and she enjoyed her membership in both. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund may be made as your expression of sympathy.
