HELEN WEIGHTMAN
Helen passed away peacefully February 2, 2017 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood following a short illness. Predeceased by her sisters Jean, Widdy (Elizabeth), and Pam. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews living in Canada, England, New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
Born in 1924 and raised just outside London, England, she immigrated to Canada where she was employed as a medical assistant and then later she worked in the travel industry. Helen had a passion for tennis and skiing and loved to travel and lived most of her retirement years at her beautiful chalet at Blue Mountain in Collingwood.
Sincere thanks to all of Helen’s friends and caregivers, especially Beth. According to Helen’s wishes there will be no funeral but a celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to your charity of choice.
