Kelly,Patricia Anne - passed away peacefully January 27th, 2017 with her loving family by her side at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood. Loving wife to Donald, precious mother of Jocelyn (Mark), Jennifer, Allyson (Colin) and Jonathan. Proud Grandmother of Matthew, Joseph, Kathryn, Isaiah and Caitlin. Survived by her brothers William (the late Faye) Crossan and David (Lois) Crossan. She will always be remembered by her extended family and friends. As per her wishes cremation has taken place.
She was an inspiration in the teaching profession for 38 years as an Elementary and Special Education teacher, Enrichment Coordinator in the Jane-Finch area of Toronto, Student Teacher Leader in the Westview family of schools, Guidance Specialist and President of the North York Women's Teacher Federation. In her term she was instrumental in the implementation of equal work for equal pay and the development of the pay grid system based on education and experience rather than gender. We would like to send a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Campbell House for the excellent care of Pat and our entire family. In lieu of flowers, donations will be welcomed at Hospice Georgian Triangle (Campbell House). A memorial gathering will take place at a later date.
