Kenneth Robert East
January 27, 1942 – January 22, 2017
Our beloved Kenny passed away January 22, 2017 with his loving wife, Kathy, by his side. Survived by his brothers Ron (Lin) and Fred (Ruby), their children Reuben, Aaron and Allison, and nephew Ben. Predeceased by parents, Alice and Harold and sister Carolyn. Ken was a much respected part of the ski community as owner of Kenmark Snowsports in Richmond Hill. An avid and accomplished skier, golfer and fisherman, Ken will be missed by all he touched during his lifetime as a coach and mentor. Kenny lived life with passion and humour with everything he did. Now he is having the best runs in 7th Heaven and sinking every putt. Visitation will be on the day Ken would have turned 75, January 27th from 6-8 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel. A celebration of Ken’s life will take place on Saturday May 6th from 4-6 p.m. at the Blue Mountain Golf & Country Club.
