Drogo Nomen Et Virtuis Arma Dedit
On January 14th, 2017 Robert Malcolm Drew passed peacefully in Owen Sound with his family by his side. He leaves behind his wife Petra, his two sons Laurence and Allister, his daughter Robyn, son-in-law Darren and granddaughter Elizabeth. He also leaves his remaining siblings Charles, Nancy, Lionel, Dianne, Joy, Lorne, Candy, Heather and many nieces and nephews. He joins his father Charles, mother Joan, brothers David, Gord and Roger and his sister Christine.
As per his wishes, Robert has been cremated and his ashes are to be spread by his family in Matechewan where he shared many fond memories with his Mother, Father and siblings. He often spoke of his time there in recent years and had hoped to return when possible.
A celebration of life will be held in his honour on Saturday January 28th at the Royal Canadian Legion - Collingwood (in the games room) from 12-6 p.m.
