Fryer, Charles Edwin passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Campbell House on Monday January 9, 2017 in his 86th year. Proud and loving father of Scott (Susan), Tim (Laurie), Shelley (Larry) Dunn, Lori and Derek. Forever cherished grandfather of Erin and Meghan Fryer, Stephanie (Michael) Fellner, Michael, Tessa and Hallie Fryer, Connor and Cullen Dunn, Brandon and Lauren Prest, Henry and Lily Fryer and his great grandchildren Bayley, Tyler, Cole and Ethan. Charlie was born to parents Edgar ‘Ed’ and Iona Fryer, he was predeceased by his brothers Robert (late Anna), William (late Eileen) and Lyall (Carole). He will be remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family extends thanks to Dr. Stephen Langford, the nurses and staff at G&M Hospital, Campbell House and Raglan Village for their kindness and care. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Trinity United Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday January 22, 2017. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
