Rowbotham, Allen Garnet passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 28, 2016 at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Gulley). Loving father of Wendy (Marvin) Beamish, Dave (Kate) Rowbotham and Sherry (Lloyd) Gibson. Cherished grandfather of Emily Anne, Cessalie, Paige, Jessica, Nathan and Cole; great grandfather of David and Abbigayle. Allen is survived by his brothers Lloyd (Jean) and Don (Carol) Rowbotham; sisters Norma (the late Mervin) Johnston, Marion (the late Ross) Kelly, Barb (the late Rod) Cudmore and Holly (the late Charlie) Hughes; predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Dunedin Hall at 1 p.m. on Saturday January 14, 2017 In lieu of flowers donations to the Epilepsy Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
