Condolences

Condolence From: DOUG GREEN
Condolence: Auntie Ann as she was known at Kimberley Point was a fine lady and always had that great smile.

One of my fondest memories growing up at Kimberley Point was one summer when Auntie Ann and Uncle Ash took me to a fishing camp on Georgian Bay when I was ten or eleven. Of course Auntie Ann caught the biggest fish of the day. The fishing guide cooked us a shore line lunch. I did not like fish at the time but this was very good.

It was something they did not have to do...but did....It meant something to me. Just an example of how nice and thoughtful they both were.

Condolence: Ann was a significant person in my life. When Ann married Ashley, my mother's cousin, my mum took Ann out for lunch and declared that they were going to be great friends. And they were for almost 50 years. They got into some serious monkey business together; they were quick to laugh, gossip and support one another. I grew up knowing that Ann was a fun loving yet thoughtful person. She was there for me when I needed her as a child and she was there for me and my sister when my mum passed away. She helped clean out my mother's apartment with me and we laughed all night. Even after her stroke, we had many giggles together. I will miss her terribly and send my very best to Susan, Ashley, Liz and the rest of the family.
